Mumbai, November 7, 2015 Mirum, the new global digital agency created by J. Walter Thompson Company, with a global force of 2200+ people, across 20 countries and 46 offices, now extends it footprint to India. As India’s leading social media and digital agency, Social Wavelength, becomes part of this global digital network, it will be known as Mirum India.
Mirum India will be a digital agency rooted in the disciplines of design, innovation, data, marketing and technology that will transform how businesses communicate and grow.
Mirum was created by J. Walter Thompson Company, in January, 2015 whose common values centre on entrepreneurship, passion for technology and creativity. Named after the Latin word for “amazing,” Mirum started out by integrating 11 leading digital agencies including Digitaria (U.S.), XM (Asia Pacific), CASA (Brazil), ActivearkJWT (Finland, Sweden and U.K.), Twist Image (Canada), Lunchbox (U.S.), i-Cherry (Brazil), HeathWallace (U.K.), Quirk (South Africa and U.K), Clarus (Mexico) and X-Prime (France). Globally, Mirum is being led by former Digitaria Chief Executive Officer Dan Khabie, who is CEO, Mirum Global and North America.

India is the first new market for Mirum after its initial launch in January 2015. Bringing Mirum to India is part of the strategic growth plan for J. Walter Thompson’s South Asia region. This development comes close on the heels of the recently announced Geometry Global Encompass Network earlier this month that makes it India’s largest experiential marketing network. With Mirum in India, J. Walter Thompson will be the only group to offer a truly integrated solutions to clients.
